If you untap a creature that has been declared as an attacker, is it still attacking. Sorry but still arguing with the afformentioned person from my last post. Thank you.

Yes. Untapping does not change the creature's status as an attacker, any more than casting Deathlace on it would.

If you untap it with (edit) some card that actually removes it from combat, that'd be a different story, though, but only because such a card explicitly says "remove the creature from combat."

Correction:  Maze of Ith does not remove the target from combat, simply untaps it and prevents combat damage to and from it.
