Meandeck Gifts: Up-to-date primer?

I've just recently gained interest in Gifts decks (read: FUCKING OBSESSED), however, it is a rather complex deck that revolves around skill. In lieu of this, I want to do a lot of research and testplaying before I actually build it, so my question is this:

Is there a good primer for Gifts somewhere? Also, what, in your opinion, is the best version of the Gifts deck? Burning wish or Tendrils, etc.
