You continue to put up incredible numbers in these tournaments with your Twist deck.

I've been testing this list for the last several weeks and its definitely interesting.  I agree with dropping library for lotus petal--I almost never activated library, and when I did it was usually "lose more" (i.e., after not playing any cards for the first turn I was critically behind on tempo). I was testing imperial seal in that slot for a while, but did find myself mana tight in situations where seal would have been better. I think the extra storm also helps given your switch to tendrils.  I was also thinking of playing a sole dark/cabal ritual in that slot to make y-will better, and now with tendrils instead of warrens that seems even better.   Have you considered that?

How did you like Tendrils over ETW?  I've beaten GAT and creatures with 8-10 goblins on the second or third turn, and tendrils just can't do that.  True, Tendrils can win the game *now* and gain you life to avoid dying to confidants, but I think I've only wished ETW had been Tendrils once or twice--most often I'm either indifferent or grateful its warrans.

Speaking of red, your sideboard baffles me. What is your plan versus GAT?  REB seems critical for the GAT matchup (which I've found to be maybe 40/60 unfavorable pre-sideboard against strong players).  Also, I understand black knight is "tech" against fish, but isn't 4 knights a bit excessive? Finally, how are you using the extirpates? I've never particularly respected this card, but I notice you've gone from 2 to 4 so it must work for you.

Finally a few general question about your meta: Do you have any idea why is GAT not dominating in Europe as it is here in the US? Is it because of the no proxy meta? What fraction of the players in this tourney are fully/mostly powered?

Congrats on yet another very strong finish. And thanks for sharing these results--reading about the European meta is like looking into a parallel universe.

@aardshark: the player in the finals with twister was not me, I had a bad day and finally went 4-3 in the swiss.

<but I know him and I can answersome of your questions. He took out red to improve the mana base, about the ritual: i waont play this deck without red but if i did i think i will play this ritual to have chance with letal tendrils.

I also think that red is basic, you've nothing to do against GAT and fish without reb, r&r is the best answetr to MUD (very common here) and stax and you improve your flash match up....

About the meta: What I cannot understand is why is GAT dominating in the US, i don't know in Europe but here in Spain most of the best players have been testing the deck and finally  not played it or tried some gush tendrils variant... Personally, when playin gGAT i felt like i was doing everything i have to... i was on the point of winning the game... but finally losing it...

About our particular meta, we play sanctioned tournaments so no proxie allowed, but most people plays powered (85-90%) and the bif majority play fully powered (75-80)%
