TBA on Wednesday 07/15/07 ($10 - $20)

TBA on Wednesday 07/15/07 (Very likely a set of blue dual lands. Seas or tundras.)

He most certainly means 08/15/07.

I'm 90% sure I can make this.

I just need a ride from Ann Arbor.

So I called Brandon and Kilz88 and we arranged an actual prize setup for this.  KC will update the original post to reflect the changes.

I will try to make this.  Just out of curiosity what do most people think is the better option 4 goyfs or the lands.

I'll be playing completely untested jank again this time.  Yet another one of my stoopid concoctions.  See ya'll there.

BTW, Vivec, I'd take the Goyf's right now because of how easy they'd be to sell.  Cash is good.  Not that Duals and fetches are hard to sell or anything, it's just that Goyfs are hotter than a whores ass on dollar day.

Top 8 contained..

Lands vs Gamekeeper (Gamekeeper won)
crappy UGB threshold-like deck that I played vs Goblins (Goblins won)
RG aggro vs UGR threshold (not sure what won here, or if those were even the two decks)
Faerie Stompy vs I forgot what deck that guy was playing (Faerie Stompy did not win)

So that was pretty useless, I only remembered some of it. I left after I lost, was very hungry.

I played http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showpost.php?p=159765&postcount=4

I hate Serum Visions, I'm never playing that card again.

I appreciate the effort Paul but here are some more accurate results, lol.

Top 8:

Christopher Walton - Salvagers Game VS Kacey Keel (Me) - 42 Land
Trevor Petrilli - Goblins (Green Splash) VS Paul Nicolo - UGb w/Psychotog
Mike Bradley - RG Beats w/Blood Moon in the board (I was terrified) VS Zachary Wallace - UGr Thresh
Josh Bettens - UGr Thresh VS Jeremy Rutherford - Faerie Stompy

Top 4:

Sal Game VS UGr Thresh (Bettens)
Goblins VS UGr Thresh (Wallace)

Top 2:

UGr Thresh (Bettens) VS Goblins

They split sort of. 1st and second basically both took the credit of $80 so it is like they drew. Instead the goblin player technically "conceded" but they did not actually play it out.

Great time. I think most everyone enjoyed themselves for the most part. Few things of note:

- The goblins player did not lose a single game all day.
- UGr (Bettens) was running Troll Ascetic
- 42 Land conceded in the quarterfinals. We played 2 games after I gave my teamate (Chris) the match and I won game one and he won game 2...::shrug::

Finally thanks to eveyone for coming out and I may or may not write a report soon. I was very happy with my deck despite the fact that people think I took too long to tap my lands .
