the current meta im playing in right now is playing with landstill(not so obv), staxless stax (obv), flash (obv), and gat (obv)

my sideboard build

1 research //// development
3 massacre
1 tendrils
1 sins of the past
4 leyline of the void
2 chain of vapor
2 echoing truth
1 pact of negation

i stared at the sb for a while and thinkin bout taking out the massacres and sins of the past, theyre just dead cards. everything else seems kinda solid. Any suggestions? Also i kno doomsday is not really a meta tier1 deck so complications are going to arise against such powerhouse decks like stax and gat. Suggestions would be great. Smile thnxs!

Maindeck
 4 Forbidden Orchard
 1 Mana Crypt
 1 Desire
 1 Yawg
 1 Research//Dev.

Sideboard:
4 Leyline of the Void

4 Oath of Druids
2 Tidespout Tyrant
1 Krosian Recaimation
1 Tinker
1 Platinum Angel
1 R//D or tendrils.

1 Rebuild or tendrils

How to Combo Game1:

Doomsday with 2 availible mana
Stack

Recall
Lotus
Mana Crypt (or other mox if its already in play)
Mind's Desire
R/D

Recall, Loutus, Emerald, tap out -> Desire
({2}, -1, +3, +2 = 0; 4 Desire flips)

Resolve first flip and get R/D, Cast for: Mox Sapphire, Tidespout Tyrant, and Yawg.  Finish desire.  Stack empty, 0 cards in deck.  GY=Recall, Lotus, Desire, R/D.

Cast: Sapphire, Tidey, Yawg [bounce->manacrypt];

Now you can go infinite spells and blue mana off Mana Crypt -> Sapphire -> Crypt w/ Tidespout.  Now you cast Lotus bouncing anything, and crack it green to cast R/D.  Put back R/D.  By resolving the first R/D, it gets RFGed because of will.  Now with R/D #2 you can wish back R/D #1.  R/D#2 is now RFGed and you can get R/D->R/D->R/D  And on each itteration, you also get 3 other cards from your deck and board.  At this point you could aways do something like counter the card Mind's Desire on the stack - to RFG it, so you can R/D it, so you can finish resolving your Desire stack with a Mind's Desire castable for no mana.  Now you can kick start that combo and get not only infinite storm, but infinite casts of Tendrils for infinite storm.  Oh and all the while you have bounced both player's entire boards (boucning the tryant last with 1,000 blue floating so you could recast him if you needed to).

For decks that could potentially give you trouble.  Namely Fish, and Stacks - you just board into Tyrant Oath.  And win for 1G.

While Harlequin's stack is a pretty using Tidesprout you could just win by getting a Yawg Will and Tendrils in the R/D cards (which are in your RFG pile since you removed your deck from the game). I worked on Doomsday a while back and came up with this list (off memory here)

Land 13
7 Fetches
4 Usea
2 Island

Accel 11
4 Rit
3 Cabal
1 Lotus
1 Petal
2 Mox

Protect 10
4 FoW
4 Duress
2 Pact

Combo pieces 3
1 Tendrils
1 R/D
1 Desire

Cyclers 4
4 Street Wraith

other 19
4 Gush
4 Brainstorm
4 Doomsday
1 Will
1 Nercro
1 Timetwister
1 Ancestral
1 DT
1 VT
1 Infernal Contract

Couple basic kills and my super cool kill to beat Chalice @1.

If Gush + Doomsday.
Petal
Brainstorm
Lotus
Will
Tendrils

to win through chalice at 1 (or you can try something with twister)
Contract
Will
Lotus
Petal
R/D
Plays out like Contract, Lotus(BBB), Petal (U), Will, Petal (G), Lotus (BBB), R/D (Lotus, Petal, Tendrils, Pact), Contract into the 4 cards.

Against 2sphere you go aggro.

As for a sideboard, I'd run something like

3 Extirpates
4 Unmask (only for Flash and storm combo)
3 Massacre
5 cards for stax

It may be flashier, and it may not have as much menuverability against Chalice or Sphere (maindeck*) but it has no problem destroying any other common solutions - namely Platinum Angel and Leyline of the Void (and tormod's crypt).
*-against decks with chalice and/or sphere maindeck - were basically talking about some sort of shop deck or possibly a fish deck.  either case you're boarding into Oath for games 2 and 3.  So you should be ok.

Under Leyline or tormod's, you get some stable mana in play.  Don't let them RFG your Sapphire... if they do, I think you can break out with offcolor mox and 4 blue lands in play... maybe 5.

Stack: Recall, Sapphire, Mana**, Desire, RD.
**-if you already have a mox in play, then Lotus or Rit will work, if you don't then this needs to be Crypt or emerald.  Remember under LL they are RFGing your cards.  The key thing to note is that after recall you need enough mana to cast MD - and after that you need 2 moxen/crypt in play and sustainable 3 mana a turn (after bouncing a land a replaying it), also you will need access to green mana.  So Mana** might be mox emerald - but a 5 color land could do the trick as well.

If you can get 1 storm going into Doomsday (by either having like a Dark Rit / mox in hand, or casting DD and cycling into the combo this turn) then R/D for: Tyrant, Tyrant, Timewalk, R/D#2.  You get all 4, reguardless of storm let the stack empty with those 4 cards (ei don't cast R/D#2 yet).  Cast Tyrant, Tyrant(bouncing LL), now Timewalk, and R/D for: Brainstormx3, Yawg.  In your walk turn you you either draw yawg or brainstorm into yawg.  Now swing for 10 and cast yawg to walk again for another 10 swing.

If you have 0 storm going into Desire->R/D for Tidespout, Tidespout, Timewalk, Krosian Rec.  Note: You get 3 out of 4 at random.

>If you don't get Timewalk, you cast Tyrant 1, Tyrant 2 [bounce LL], Cast Krosian Rec targeting some cards of an opponent and bounce two cards.  Next turn you draw timewalk, cast it (bounce x2). Upkeep FB Kros Rec (bouncex2) on Timewalk, draw timewalk and swing for 10, cast timewalk (bounce x2) and pass the turn.

>If you don't get Krosian, its basically the same as above but you don't have to pass the turn, and win without your opponent ever getting a turn.

>If you don't get Tyrant, things get a little sticky.  Cast Tyrant, Timewalk boucning LL, and Kros Rec returning timewalk bouncing Crypt.  Timewalk turn:
>>  Draw Tyrant - swing for 5, cast the crypt boucning mox and mox->crypt to float 8 blue.  cast tyrant boucing crypt.  Now cast crypt boucing mox and an opponent's card.  Repeat until they have no board.  Pass the turn.  Draw timewalk and swing for 10, cast timewalk bouncing random stuff, and flashback rec on timewalk.  Draw timewalk and swing for 10 (25 total).
>>  Draw Timewalk - swing for 5, cast the timewalk bounce stuff.  Timewalk turn, draw Tyrant, swing for 5 (10), play the crypt and get 8 mana off sapphire and crypt to cast tyrant 2, bounce thier board.  Flashback Rec on timewalk and pass the turn.  Now draw timewalk and swing for 10 (20 total).

If they've got Leyline or Crypt out you could just R/D for 2x Tendrils. Let's say you don't want to run a second tendrils on the board, how about just getting something like this with R/D

Sapphire
Jet
Chain of Vapor
Tendrils

Sapphire (s=5), Jet (6), Chain (7), Sapphire (8), Jet (9), Tendrils (10)

That'd deal with Platinum if she was in play too.

If they've got 2sphere or Chalice out you aren't going to be able to get into the situation were it matters right? I mean for games 2 and 3 yeah you've got a oath transform which they may be expecting if they saw those orchards. I wouldn't be counting on a oath transform to win too much for you.

im not playing with an oath deck in the sideboard, i was actually more interested in the hate. stax has proven the biggest nuisance for me, everything else seems manageable (generally after going 0-7 to stax i just pull out TMWA on my friend and pwn em). My build for doomsday is the Meandeck build posted by menendian. i really liked the deck after i watched my friend brian kiel play with it. anyway heres how ive modified the board since yesterday and im hoping itll prove effective today against my friend.

1 gush
1 tendrils
4 leyline
2 chain of vapor
4 echoing truth (seems excessive but ill give it a shot)
1 hurkyls recall
1 rebuild
1 R///d

I do however appreciate ppl posting their builds on this deck, particularly the oath one. It seems very interesting. tell me what you guys think, as i am open to the harshest of criticism Smile . thnxs!
