Where:
Adventures in Comics and Games
6026 Fair Oaks Blvd
Carmichael, CA 95608
(916) 973-9064

When:
Saturday, November 10th
3pm Tournament start time, Registration starts at 2pm
Decklists will be collected at the start of round 1. Please mark proxies on your deck lists in some way.
$20 Entry fee

First place gets a Mishra's Workshop, additional prizes based on attendance.
Our last tournament gave out a bunch of stuff and door prizes.

Vintage format
10 proxies, standard proxy rules apply. Feel free to ask me about your proxies on site before the tournament begins.
X rounds of Swiss, followed by a cut to top 8 (top 4 with 16 or fewer).
While obviously not a DCI sanctioned event, it will be run by a L2 judge (me![NOT LOTUSHEAD) as a Regular REL event with deck lists and deck verification.

NOTE: This is the Saturday after Thanksgiving. (That makes it unlikely that I can attend myself, but might be able to send my scrub teammates in my stead with Team Vacaville Cardboard Crack Tech. (double hint: I wouldn't mind a change in tourney date to say, 1 week later or even 2 weeks later.  We are just glad to have vintage tournies.  I know I can't make all of them).)
Also, I cut and pasted that last tourney info, editing in new info I got from Scott, the Adventures' guy.  I'll edit this post if any changes are known to me.
Lastly, the $20 fee (reduced from the usual $25 fee) is to reflect that this is a Workshop, not an actual Mox/Walk/Recall/Lotus.
SuperLastly, I have nothing to do with this store (or Eudemonia for that matter), I just happen to be a Vintage player in the area who posts here on TMD.  That being said, this store (and Eudemonia) both run great operations, and great times are to be had.

Personally, I'd much rather see another date, either the week before.  Probably get a MUCH better turnout than the current date... people will be too stuffed full of turkey to move that weekend, not to mention many visiting family. Maybe if we moan and cry enough about it, he'll adjust it =P

Quote is from a "Lake Tahoe" player who brings in 3-4 players when they show up.  If Adventures is reading, please change date!

I will likely go there for FNM on Friday, and plead further.  I'll keep you posted.  (Like I said, I can't make all tourneys.)

EDIT:
I went to FNM and had a blast. The T2 guys were actually kinda fascinated by Vintage decks being played (between drafting Suck-Wyn).
It looks like the 24th is the Shop Tourney, and I probably won't be there (Thanksgiving), but to all those who can, the events are great, good vibes all around, and the store has bought cookies and donuts almost every time I've been there.
If I can't be there, I can arrange for my two scrub teamma- I mean Team Vacaville to be there packing decks.

Jeff.

I just a call from Scott that they're changing the date to the 10th of nov to avoid Thanksgiving weekend conflicts.

I and my few scrub teammates will make it.  The Tahoe crew say they will be down barring medical emergencies or hurricane Katahoe or Manager's With Attitude.  They said they might encourage Reno-folk (kithkin like) to show up too.

I'm gonna kill me some BrainScrollGush decks!
