I might be able to make it up to this one. It may depend upon the weather though.

I should be there with a Santa suit, hat, and helper. Oh yeah, and a really bad deck just to force folks to name something silly with there Mages.

No, no. I think it was Mage on Dash Hopes he was referring to. Just because he had two in hand!
Looking forward to it!

Amazing tournament guys! I hope you all had as much fun as I did.
We had 24 players show up.
Top 8 was incredibly strong:
Doug Linn - GAT Joe Bushman - GAT Stephen Menendian - GAT Mark Trogdon - Aggro Workshop Nam Tran - Aggro Workshop Juan Rodriguez - TPS Ellis Nielly - Manaless Ichorid Willie Milton - Control Slaver.Demars.dec
Doug and I faced off in the quarters and I prevailed, barely.
Top 4 (Trogdon, Nam Tran, myself, and Ellis) split the cash purse.
I will send decklists to morphling.de and link them once they are posted.
Aggro Workshop pwned! (Almost as much as Willie Milton pwned my sandwich)

There must be a mistake. I don't see Anthony Michaels listed in that top8, despite all of his claims about how he was going to win. Maybe you got confused and listed Juan's name instead, I can't imagine him making the top 8...

No top 8 for me this time, but I will be back with a vengeance in Sandusky on the 12th to defend the prestigious title of Master Lock! This tourney was a great way to end the year. Props: The Vintage community Going 3-2 then cube drafting. Josh "CoffeCup" Chappel for wearing the ring of the cube drafting King! Thurman's!!!!! 101 proof Wild Turkey. so good slops: Blue decks Welder shenanigans..... I learn your ways someday. Top 4 shenanigans......Yeah, Smmenen knows whats up.

Yeah, the tournament was a blast as always. It was nice to be able to make it out to one of these. I think I have missed the last few. Props to the Vintage community, especially the people I played who were all awesome.
Props to Yare for coming out and scrubbing. He kept me entertained all day. See you guys next time, hopefully in Sandusky.

Let's just say that this... Maybe this time, people won't pussy out and go for a top 4 split Was all hat and no cattle, as they say in Texas. I wasn't paying attention to all the details, but there was some goading, some cajoling, some bluster, some predictions, some agreeing to play it out, some Juggernauts equipped with Jittes, and some pleas for a split that--fortunately or not--did not fall on unsympathetic ears. I'm just kidding, Steve. Though after the first few turns of game one, it really looked like you'd be right about, "If I refuse to split, I'll lose; that's just how it works." Maybe next time! Maybe in Sandusky!
