If you play Show and Tell, each player may choose a card in his or her hand, then all the chosen cards are put into play at the same time. Do you have to show each other player the card you choose as you choose it, or is it enough to say "I pick this one" while pointing to the back of a card in your hand? The rules were unclear; they're being changed to make it evident that the latter method is okay.
From the above referenced Oracle Update article, the author mentions a rules clarification to cards like Show and Tell. Could someone please clarify / confirm my understanding? When the new rule is in place, will Show and Tell work like this?
1) Active Player chooses a card but does not have to reveal it. Meaning he/she must identify the card but doesn't have to show what it is yet.
2) Non-Active player chooses a card but does not have to reveal it yet.
3) Then both chosen cards are put into play at the same time.
This is different from what the 2004 rules say:
10/4/2004 The current player chooses first and reveals their card, then the opponent chooses and reveals their card. Both cards are then put into play simultaneously.
