I've been toying with the idea for a colored MUD for awhile now. I present you, Not-So-MUD (or Supreme MUD).

The Brown
1 Black Lotus
1 Crucible of the Worlds
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mana Vault
1 Memory Jar
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Sol Ring
4 Thorn of Amethyst
3 Tangle Wire
2 Chalice Of The Void
2 Sword of Fire and Ice
1 Trinisphere

The Critters
4 Metalworker
2 Arcbound Ravager
2 Duplicant
1 Sundering Titan
1 Darksteel Colossus
3 Triskelion

Spells
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Crop Rotation
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Tinker

Lands
4 City Of Brass
3 Gemstone Mine
3 Mishra's Factory
4 Mishra's Workshop
1 Strip Mine
3 Wasteland
1 Tolarian Academy

Sideboard
2 In The Eye Of Chaos
3 Staff of Domination
4 Sphere Of Resistance
4 Leyline Of The Void
2 Duplicant

The Deck
First off, this has only been tested online and has not had it's tournament debut. I'm planning on debuting it this Saturday at a local tournament.

The deck has a different ways of going about to win. The main one being Metalworker->Critters/Lock Pieces and taking the aggro route. Another path is the Tinker->DSC/Land Muncher kill. Mishra's Factory can provide the beats if it comes down to it. This version of MUD is a lot less explosive than solid brown but I believe it has a more stable game due to the searches and different options.

Chalice of the Void is up in the air as a chalice at 1 is hell for a lot of decks, but it could be trouble for yours as well. The sideboard is very situational and should be tuned to your metagame. Staff from the sideboard provides another kill as you could just combo off post-board.

Common Questions and Answers
Why should I play this over Supreme Stax?
If you want to control the game more, than run Supreme Stax. If you want to come out of the gate swinging, then give this a try.

Why is there only one Crucible?
For that random Waste/Strip Lock you happen to draw into. It's also a tinker target if you are being Waste/Strip Locked.

Why not add *this* and *this*?
If you suggest it, I will test it and let you know how it goes.

This is a silly/dumb idea.
Time will tell.

If this is in the wrong forum, please move it  Very Happy

I think that DSC will be a hazzard more than a god send.  Elias Vaisberg had some recent fun running a mind slaver in the mix doing stuff like turn 1 metal worker -> Turn 2 reveal 5 and play and slave someone.  I just think tinkering for Titan will just about always be better than tinkering for C-Lo.

I really think you should be playing sphere of resistance over thorn main. Just the simple fact that your playing a shop deck means you can play around this card, even with a high creature count, while being able to lock your opponent out of playing naught stifle goyf or bob more effectively. It's just a better card in general while having next to no effect of you. also, I'd strongly consider playing a minimum of 3 crucible main deck.
