Players receive penalties all the time at Magic tournaments because of carelessness and laziness. Kevin Binswanger is here to give you advice and step-by-step instructions on tournament operations to let you concentrate on playing Magic without having to worry about an illegal decklist or slow play.

I know this one comes under the Unlocking Legacy banister, but there's very little in here that is Legacy specific, so I would be interested in branching this article out to as many people as possible.  My focus in writing this article was to reach out to Eternal players in general.  Because of the lack of PTQs or FNMs or any tournament with regular judging, Eternal players tend to have back tournament management skills.  This usually translates to bad results.  I tried to combine everything I know about tournaments, tight technical play, and everything I know from being a judge into a guide for players to do better at tournaments.  Too often players do poorly at tournaments because they do not know how to manage a tournament, rather than deck choice or playskill.

Posted here rather than in Legacy Format Development because I want Vintage players to see it and read it too.
