This is the first time I'm posting something to this site. I didn't even know about it until a guy at the store I play at told me about it the other day. I showed him a vintage deck I was toying with and he said that I would be able to get some constructive advise here. So here it goes.

The deck is combo-aggro that has two different first turn kills. The main idea is to ball lightning, fists of anvil, then berserk for the 20 point haster. Then, since the colors were right I thru in channel and disintegrate (Yeah, that old trick). Anyway, here's the deck list.

Creatures:
4x ball lightning
4x groundbreaker
4x elvish spirit guide
4x simian spirit guide
4x timbermare

Spells:
4x fists of anvil
4x fling
4x berserk
1x wheel of fortune
1x channel
4x disintegrate
4x red elemental blast

Artifacts:
1x mox ruby
1x mox emerald
1x black lotus
1x mana crypt
1x lotus petal

Lands:
4x taiga
4x stomping ground
1x karplusan forest
4x wooded foothills

I haven't been able to play test it yet to see how it fares against vintage standards. I'm really just looking for any suggestions. Does the mana base seem right? Any other cards maybe I need that I don't have in there? Finally, what should my sideboard consist of?

Hi sir... here's my take on your deck:

Flash WILL pawn you. It IS literally faster that you...

Staxx will make your 6/1's uncastable, thus making flings and berserks useless.

GaT will stomp you. His dryad is bigger than your 6/1's and IS permanent.

Tinker + Colossus will ruin your day. Swear...

Fish will just counter your spells then drop a Mage and name your keycards.

Goblins has Mogg Fanatic to spit on your 6/1's...

Channel + Disintegrate will 90% be Misdirected back to you.

Storm (Long) will either combo out, or combo out. It is Inevitable.



About the mana base...

Too many "remove from hand" cards.. Yes I know, Groundbreaker and Ball Lightning have pretty heavy costs, but those creatures are NOT fitted in vintage.

Try this list instead if you are really a fan of R/G Beats:
