I'm pleased to announce my 14th Mox Tournament.  The Custom Card for this event is a Textless Tarmogoyf:

I've worked out the sketches for it, and I'll be revealing the full art the week of the event.  Here's the sneak peak without the art:

I appreciate all the support I've received from the community, and anticipate the continued growth of Vintage in New England.  These Custom Cards do not take away from the prize pool at all.  They are an extra way of saying thank you.

First place prize will be a Signed Time Walk.

Here are the details:
ELD's Mox Tournament XIV

ELD Proxies do not count towards the proxy limit at ELD or Myriad Games events.  These are the ELD Proxies:

I've been receiving a lot of inquiries about my proxies and custom work.  I sell the ELD Proxies at $15 each.  I also take commissions to make any proxy.  These commissioned proxies are not considered ELD Proxies, so they do count towards your proxy count at ELD and Myriad Events.

Ask and you shall receive.  Just ironed out the details with Stillpoint, and we will be returning to their spacious store for this event.  We've also set up a side event.  It will be a 8 person $15 Shadowmore Draft with 1st place being an Underground Sea!  I just purchased two large collections, so the prizes are very straight forward right now.  I'll add more options once I sort out all the crazy foils/asian cards I acquired.

I'll be unveiling the door prize, and hopefully the finished Top 8 Tarmogoyf at Scholar's tomorrow night.  With less than a week to go to this event, Monday Night Vintage is a great way to get in some testing.  The Foil Mox Ruby for the pre-registration door prize is my favorite foil yet, so be sure to pre-reg by 11:59 PM Thursday Friday.  Of course, the earlier you pre-reg, the easier it makes it on me, but knowing who plans to attend makes it much easier to set up in the venue.

Foil ELD Proxy Ruby added to original post.  Everyone comments on how they are so much more shiny in real life, so I tried to get a pic that shows it.  Looks like the best way to see for sure is still pre-reging, and seeing it in person.  See you guys Saturday.  The Goyfs are down to the detail work, so I should finish them with 4-8 hours of work tomorrow.  I'll get a scan up ASAP.

Thank you to everyone who attended.  While a Legacy event and Memorial Day weekend plans took a small bite out of attendance, it did nothing to diminish the competition.  A full report will be up after this weekend.  I'll be at Scholar's this Monday, along with several other players who can fill curious parties in on the action from this event.  Thanks again, and I look forward to hosting another event soon!

I've been swamped, so here are some details until I get the full report finished.

There were 19 players, which was pretty good considering there was a Legacy event the same day, as well as Memorial Day weekend plans to compete with.  The Top 8 had 7 Painter decks, with a lone Flash deck as the stand out.  Top 4 Split and took the buyback.

The prize pool was pretty stacked.

5th-8th ended up taking some crazy Asian stuff - Playsets of Saga Duresses, Gushes, Signed Street Wraiths as well as a Black Bordered Mana Vault.  The Top 4 could have walked with tons of different stuff, but I would think these would have been worth the most:

Time Walk
Foil Saviors Pithing Needle
Foil Gifts Ungiven
Foil Tinker

There were tons of cards to choose from, like Asian Tolarian Academies, Foil Scourge Tendrils and a bunch of other pimped out Vintage Swag.

Full Report is up.  Thanks again to everyone who made this event a success.  June is already full, so I'm not sure when my next event will be.  I will be attending as many events as I can though, Pandemonium tomorrow, and tons of other Vintage on the horizon.
