I'm super stoked to see this post Carl.

You had me worried. Wink

I'm also glad to see this is another proxy event.

I hope to see lots of folks there, supporting Carl and the Colorado Vintage scene.

THE Lucksac and I are going White-water rafting at the Royal Gorge May 31st. If we get back in time, count me in. I've been fiendin' to play some type 1 again. It's been awhile since I've crushed some dreams!

Can we count the Lucksac in as well? It would be amazing to get Scotty Limoges in on this tournament.

This sounds like a fun tournament - someone will be driving home with a great prize!  Unfortunately I can't make it so it won't be me.

Carl, how will the June 1st Restrictions/Bannings effect this tournament? Will the change be in effect the day of the tournament? I personally would like the changes if any to the B and R list to be ignored for this tournament because it would suck the day of the tournament a card gets restricted and people have it in their deck and have to change their deck at the last minute because of the restriction.

The "Banned / Restricted" list has always been effective on the 20th of the month.

Even when WotC changed that policy?

I guess I'm in need of a little guidance here.  I know that new cards are legal the day they are available to the public.  I wasn't aware that B/R announcements take affect the day they are announced.  Please provide me with a link to that policy so I will be "in the know".  Thanks.

No, my bad. I'm thinking of new set legality, not B/R changes.

Yeah that's my bad I thought it took effect immeadiately as well. I thought they changed it to be like set releases. I remember I got to play a tournament a few days before the restricting of Gifts.

Good luck to everyone at this tournament! I, unfortunately, will be unable to attend. I hope everyone has a great time.

Marcus, I hope you take this down!
