The tourney was a blast and I believe that everyone had a good time.
I just want to thank Dave P. Baum at the HeroZone for hosting this event and I hope to see everyone at the next HeroZone vintage tourney extravaganza.

EDIT: I would also like to thank everyone who was in the “Bar” bracket with me. It was good times.

The tournament was a blast like always! It was good to see Hazard and Doug again. It has been a while...

My only complaint is that we need to get more people to show up. Some of the Michigan guys expressed interest in attending if we could get our attendance up. That would be pretty sweet! Also, Dave P. Baum needs to make more proxies! I totally sniped that Bazaar proxy while nobody was looking!

-Props to Twaun the TO
-Props to Team Reflection for being awesome!
-Props to Doug and Matt for coming out and almost making the cut
-Props to everyone else that showed
-Props to Randall for being cool with playing it out in round 4, just to lose to me
-Props to Juan for showing up just to hang out
-Props to the Brain for coming out of retirement, splitting in the finals, and winning the Masterlock Belt. Wear it proud!
-Props to Jerry Yang for being asian

-Slops to the locals who keep saying that they want to play but don't have the time/cards. First it is infinite proxies and second, they all just need to stop playing Guitar Hero. Those guys are pretty good at it  Wink
-Slops to Dave Baum for having to work for free and not coming out to eat with us
-Slops to Trogdons deck for giving him poor draws during our top 4 match. They need to print a red Brainstorm!
-Slops to Guhstin for not showing. Is work really more important?!

Yeah dude...

actually everyone that used to come down from Michigan has decided that the plan is to say we're coming down for this, but instead do something else.

But seriously, we need to start coming back to Ohio, these Hero Zone tournaments are a freekin blast!

i actually planned on coming to the tournament but I had to go out of town for work.  It's hard to make it when you're 1000 miles away.  Hopefully next time.

That's cool. It was the return of Slaver! Therefore, I figured you would be out in full force  Wink There were some guys we ran into at RIW the following Sunday that said that they wanted to come out but couldn't justify it with the low turnout. Perhaps you guys could all get together and carpool for the next one. That would be awesome!

Me and Mastriano planned on coming out for this one; unfortunately we both had to work( college admissions is a drag). We hope you guys will be making it out for the Pittsburgh tourney in August; we will be doing what we can to attend any and all Hero Zone events in the future!

Congrats on the nice tournament guys.  I'm an Akron native, but I've been on a four year military vacation and have just returned.  I would've attended, possibly even with my cousin, but I'm still getting settled into my new apartment at the moment.

Meh, I wonder if my skills are even up to par to participate in such a tournament.  Being gone for so long, I already forget simple plays like when to interrupt dragon, bomberman, what's the proper gifts play, etc.

Either way, if and when I do finally decide to show up...expect some crazy oldschool rogue deck because I refuse to go mainstream and play a ubiquitous top deck.
