I'm not sure I would have chosen Zvi's Two-Headed Dragon tech as a "classic" Fires list, although this list is certainly quite
good. It was more typical to play with Saproling Burst, and one of the deck's iconic plays was "The Fix," playing Burst onto a board with Fires already down and making three 4/4s with haste. Finkel's list might be preferable, although his use of Urza's Rage was also considered a fairly techy inclusion:
