I recently noticed an interesting card, to say the least, called double cleave.  For those who do not know, it is an instant for 1 and R or W, that gives target creature double strike until end of turn.  When I first saw this card, the thought that first came to mind was "Nice a 2 mana, multi color berserk", which in T1 is essentially what it is, IF you get a fat creature out before your opponent gets a chump out, or chooses not to block Wink

So what are the best creatures for this card to abuse?  Many come to mind, but either are too costly, or not efficient enough anymore to be utilized (example our poor TOG).
Two that I did see that are "good" enough in my oinion are:
Tarmogoyf - we all know why by now I am sure.  Berserking/Cleaving this guy, or better yet both, can lead to a very quick demise.
and one I noticed today, which I am REALLY starting to like:
Salvage Titan - a 6/4 for 4BB, OR sacrifice 3 artifacts, and play him for FREE.  Not only that, but remove 3 artifacts in your grave from the game, and RETURN him to your hand.  Broken?  Him and Berserk are just begging to be used.

So we got the basice idea.  Drop land, 3 artifacts, 1 hopefully being a mox/lotus, and cast a Goyf and Titan turn 1.
Turn 2 go with a cleave or berserk, or just a regular attack for 8-12 damage.  Neck turn berserk or cleave for a win.

Pretty simple, pretty effective, pretty fast.
So what do we build around these monsters?  Well there are probably man ways, as most decks in magic can be mutated many ways, but I decided to go almost FULL aggro, with my only defense being Thorn of Amherst, which I may drop anyways for Duress or Thoughtseize, since they affect my Cleave (cleave for 3 is not as good as cleave for 2, berserk for 2 still ain't too shabby tho lol).  Anyways, my current decklist:

Draw:

1 Tinker
1 Memory Jar
1 Windfall
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Wheel of Fortune
1 Timetwister
1 Brainstorm
Boosters:
4 Serum Powder
4 Berserk
4 Double Cleave
Protection: (may be changed)
4 Thorn of Amethyst
1 Grim Monolith
Mana:
1 Mana Vault
1 Sol Ring
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mana Crypt
1 Lotus Petal
4 Chrome Mox
1 Black Lotus
3 Tropical Island
1 Savannah
2 Windswept Heath
3 Wooded Foothills
1 Badlands
1 Bayou
3 Taiga
Creatures:
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Salvage Titan

I haven't tested it against other decks yet, thus no sideboard, but as a multi color deck, the sky is the limit.  Mainly I goldfished with it, and have gotten turn 2 and 3 goldfishes, I would have to say 4 is usually the most common tho.  Not necessarily super fast, but well, pretty fast.  So please, help me make this monstrosity quick or more efficient, or heck go with a TOG style, and try and make it control-aggro.  Just give me insight and opinions, thanks.  Very Happy

I don't think you're running enough artifacts to support titan to be honest. Which turn do you usually power one out?

There are 24 artifacts in the deck, 9 mox, Crypt, Petal, and Lotus are all 0 man.  Vault and Sol are 1 mana, 4 thorns are 2, 4 serums 3 (yes I will cast a serum for a free Titan, which isn't hard to do), and Memory Jar, which I have both tinkered and hard cast.  If I have a Titan in my opening hand, he usually get's dropped. 2 swings with him then a berserk or cleave.  That's goldfishing of course, and a million things can happen in 3 turns, swords, bounce, etc etc, but it so fast beats, especially if you get multiple out, which isn't hard with the draw 7's, or a 4/5 powered Goyf beside him for 2 mana.

That actually sounds like a great idea.  Can't believe I missed DSC.  But what to drop?  The deck seems tight as is.

How about dropping the Grim Monolith?  T'd expect that to be the least useful card in that list (but this is without testing, so make of that what you will.)
