The Dutch Vintage Tournament 5th Edition on 12 October 2008.

There where 50 players gathered in Breda to Play for a Mox Emerald and a Library of Alexandria. I saw a few new players and some returning players that mist the last tournaments so I was happy again to attract new players to Breda. The atmosphere was really nice and all players set there mind on a competitive day of Vintage Magic. When every one was registered we could start de tournament with 6 rounds of swiss followed with a top 8.

Thanks for posting the lists.  Does your metagame typically have so many Oath and MUD players?
And as a side note, the list from Maarten Wevers is missing 4 cards, which are probably Dark Confidants.

Normally we have a very "open" metagame our last tournament didn't have that much MUD but did have some oath so it's a new ball game everytime (real hard to predict anyway)

Decklist up-dated.

About the meta-game, In Holland it is really hard to tell, In the Gush era only 25% of the players played a Gush engine and the rest was playing other decks. If you compare this to the USA it is alot different where almost 50% of the players played Gush engines. The Meta is always open and you can't focus on 2 mayor strategies, on the other hand I like it this way, we see new decks all the time and many players tweak their own deck just like Frank van Rijn.

In Holland are Less typical Storm and Drain players as in the USA and more Fish style players, I believe that is the reason that Oath was played as much as it did.
