For those who played in Richmond or were familiar with the magic scene here, I have some unhappy news.  Jay Coffman passed away yesterday having battled health issues for many years.  Jay was one of the original Richmond Vintage crew from back in the days before the Paragons, and was always a player and person of the very top quality.  He will be sorely missed.

I am terribly sorry to hear about this.  I too played with the Richmond crowd in the early 2000s and had been matched up against him a time or two at Richmond Comix and various old SCG events.  I always enjoyed his presence and I agree that he was clearly a great guy.
