Fifteen (15) proxies are free with entry. ELD's Power Proxies do not count against this 15 proxy limit. ELD Power Proxies include the following 12 custom proxies issued at ELD events: Black Lotus, Mox Ruby, Mox Pearl, Mox Jet, Mox Emerald, Mox Sapphire, Ancestral Recall, Time Walk, Timetwister, Bazaar of Baghdad, Mishra's Workshop, and Imperial Seal. Other ELD custom proxies count as normal proxies.

PRIZES

As with all our events, prizes scale up with attendance, so the more the merrier!
About 90% of the prizes will go to the Top 8.
The remaining 10% will go to community support prizes including Myriad Games Mana Cookies, Preregistration Prize, Carpool Prize, and other assorted door prizes.

Here are some examples of the prize distribution based on attendance.

20 Players - Top 8 Total ~ $450 Myriad Money
30 Players - Top 8 Total ~ $675 Myriad Money
40 Players - Top 8 Total ~ $900 Myriad Money

The results from this event will count toward the new Vintage Rankings.

To help registration and reporting run more smoothly, please print out your deck registration sheet ahead of time and bring them to the event. Hey there,
I've always wondered something.  It says that 90 Percent of prizes go to top 8 and the remaining 10 percent go to door prizes and such.  Then it sais top 8 total is 450 Myriad Bucks for 20 people.  Does this mean that for 20 people, the total of prizes given out are ~500 in Myriad money (450 to top 8, 50 to door prizes), or does it mean that the top 8 gets 405 (90 percent of 450) and the door prizes are valued at 45 Myriad Units?

Also, is there a cash option, and if so, what would the conversion be?

I may or may not be coming depending on if I'm scheduled to work and if I can bum a ride.

PS. How much is your cheapest Mox in terms of myriad money?

Glad to hear you're considering joining us for this next event. As with all our events, 100% of the entries go toward the prizes. For our Vintage events, about 90% of that goes to the Top 8 with the rest going to ancillary prizes (Best Deck Name, Preregistration Bonus, Carpool Bonus, etc), so yes for 20 players at $25 entry, we give out $500 in prizes. While we do not award cash prizes, as doing so is illegal in NH (and most states), we do purchase cards from customers. Usually winners use the Myriad Money toward anything in our vast selection. We can also special order in anything we do not have in stock, with a variety of different prices available depending on condition and how quickly you'd like to acquire the power cards.

I can definitely vouch for Myriad on this. We have acquired several $100+ cards from myriad games using myriad money from winnings. The system is very similar to Ray Robillard's prize structures, which not only offer monetary cash-out options, but also near-infinite prize options if you're willing to wait for shipping. Not to mention Myriad often stocks several power cards on site.

Great store. Great TO. If you're on the fence about going, you won't be disappointed. Ok, fanboi off.
