Mana Cost is the symbols in the upper right hand corner. Converted Mana Cost is the whole number you get if you add up all those symbols. So in the case of Unmask, the Mana Cost is


and the Converted Mana Cost is 4. (Note that it's 4, not

.) This is what these values always are. They may have little to no correlation with how much is actually paid to play the card. How much you must pay to play the spell in a given situation would be the cost to play the spell. It's very rare that a card will care about this (see Trinisphere for an example).
Thanks. I know about the converted mana cost of a card but I did not know if the mana cost was zero because you have the option to remove a card instead of paying four I think it is.
