In answering the commandeer question, I was trying to think of a scenaro in which one ~might~ want to fizzle a duress with Commandeer. In attempting to think of an example, I actually ended up making a bit of a rule puzzle that I'm not sure the answers to...
Suppose I control:
Rayne, Academy Chancellor Whenever you or a permanent you control becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, you may draw a card, and if Rayne, Academy Chancellor is enchanted, you may draw another card.
Question 1: I play a duress, which is Comandeered by my opponent. Gain control of target noncreature spell. You may choose new targets for it.
That resolves, and my opponent chooses to reasign the target of duress to me. Does it trigger Rayne, and if so - when?
Question 2: My opponent, in an attempt to be clever, Cast Lightning Bolt on a Mountain Goat they control, but in response they Misdirrect the Bolt to me (I still control Rayne).
Again does Rayne Trigger once, or twice (bolt + Misdirrect), or not at all?
