Apparently this kind of crossover's been explored in various comic media, but as something of an interested bystander to comic book mythology I have a hard time accepting this as something beyond geek fetish porn.

Kevin Smith says it's b-a, whatever that's worth.

Yeah, I'd have to agree.

If you wanna get deep,
the Joker symbolized symbolism and meaning.

This means that when he's killed by the alien,
it signals that all artistic value is gone the second you introduce the aliens and predators.

I'm not much of a comic buff, though, whatever that's worth.

Hmm, yeah this haha.

FWIW as a musician I suppose I compare this short to a demo tape.  You don't send a potential record label your whole album, they don't have time or inclination to listen to everyone's LP.  So you pick your Top 4 strongest songs and showcase your strengths.  This short is obviously easily segmented into Camera Angles, Dialogue, Action Sequence.  It probably deserves a more educated eye than mine, which is why I say I'm not entirely sure how cool this thing supposedly is.  It's apparently regarded pretty high on the list of infamous fan films as something with substance.  Alex Ross goes far enough to say this is the Batman portrayal he's always wanted to see.

Shit, I dunno, I figured this was a pretty nerdy audience so I threw it out here.
