I thought it got around being a one mana tutor for lotus, it now would cost 1U to grab a lotus.

This seems quite silly in Vintage. It's more than free; you tap out to cast this for every artifact left in your deck; you get Moxen, Lotus, Sol Ring, and everything else. That means more than the cost you spent playing it.

This seems quite silly in Vintage. My natural inclination is to say, "So? Vintage can take care of itself." However, since this tutors up the entire Vault/Key combo for 2U...I am worried, even for vintage. I would remove the words "or less" to fix this. |

Maybe this could be a cool XY card. Costs XYU, search for X artifacts that all cost Y or less? Costs 1U to fetch lotus or any 0-cost artifact, costs 4U to fetch Vault/Key.
Or XX if you don't want to venture outside of the norm, even though there was a printing of Fireball that tried costing it at XYR.

That alternative prevents them from getting Memory Jar but does nothing (and in fact makes it easier) to just tutor up a bunch of Moxen and then have the mana for whatever silly alternative you want.

I don't see how it's "broken" now. By the time you can grab key and time vault, you might as well just play tezzerret instead. It's also a sorcery, meaning not eot shenanigans.

I'm still uncomfortable with how this is basically free storm for a million. It's free storm and mana acceleration.
Also, it should probably be UU instead of just U.

Better but surely you mean a combined total CMC of X or less? Otherwise you could do stupid things in pretty much any format. |
