Hadley, MA Vintage Tournament, August 16th!

Hello Everyone, this is Matt and I am announcing my third Vintage tournament for a Library of Alexandria to be held on Sunday, August 16th at X9 Games in Hadley, MA! After the success of my last two events I am looking to continue the trend and hope all of you can make it out for a fun day of summer vintage!

There will be 5 rounds of Swiss with a cut to top 8 assuming we get at least 17 players and I will do my best to extend prize support out to the whole top eight in some way. I have a LoA in good condition guaranteed for first and I have a bunch of other sweet judge foils and stuff for the rest of the top 4/8. There will also be some sort of door prize and a prize for the best performing zero proxy budget deck and probably something cool for the deck I deem to be the coolest or most original.

The Tournament will start promptly at 12 noon so get there early to register your deck (we will have some sweet checklists available) as we will start giving out losses to people who show up late.  

Entry fee will again be $10 and I plan to keep it that way.

The tournament will be 10 proxy and please make sure that your proxies are indistinguishable from real cards and it is easy to tell what they are supposed to represent. Also this tournament will get you ranking points on the Mana Drain .

In my orrigional post I forgot to mention that there will be a pearl for first if 30 people show and a saphire for first if 40 people show. Also don't forget to come out on Tuesdays from 6-9 and come playtest; Sam, Dan, Tony and myself are usually there and I hope that a few more of you can show up.

Yes this is still a go, and I have picked up a bunch of sweet stuff for prizes down the line plus I got my hands on a chinese portal three kindoms starter as a door prize. Hope you can come ray. Ill also be looking to pickup cards for prizes at my next tournamentso to anyone ill be paying cash for cards, especially drains. Hope to see you all on sunday!

Nice Ray, so       as he does at every tournament I've held so far, Ray made the top 2, and this time he won. While Gencon was terrible for attendance, I had a lot of fun and will be holding another tournament at the end of September of begining of October.
