After four rounds we cut to a top 8 which looked as follows,

Korey (Elves!)

    vs.

John A (UB Draw Distruption)   winner
    ~~
Nicki (Painter's Servant)

    vs

Clay (Mono Brown Staxx)   winner
    ~~
John T (Slaver)  winner

    vs

Bobby (5CC)
    ~~
Michael (Tezz)

    vs

Denis (Burn)  winner

Because of already made food plans and the mall's need to close the top 4 split the total cash prize of $70 making it $17.50 a person. For monthly points it was agreed upon that top 8 would be

1) John T. (Slaver)
2) John A. (UB Draw Disruption)
3) Clay (Mono Brown Staxx)
4) Denis (Burn)
5) Korey (Elves!)
6) Nicki (Painter's Servant)
7) Bobby (5cc)
8) Michael (Tezz)

This week had a good turn out, lets keep it up guys!!! See you all next week.

This makes me want to play Erayo again.   Very Happy  Why Finkel? Is it due to lots of aggro and he has conveniently annoying toughness?

Uhmm Erayo is a 1/1 that flips into an enchantment. I believe you mean Meloku.

An Enchantment that counters every first spell of your opponent each turn ... not too bad. He is talking about the old Sullivan Sollution deck which used to playing a similar list of UB draw and disruption tools, but with Erayo. Today it is a little bit outdated with all this creatures around.

After playing a lot of Burn I am of the opinion that Fireblast is the best card in the deck.  4 Barb Rings drops the mountain count to 9...making it difficult to cast the best burn spell you have.

I understand the old solution decks, but he was saying in his post about how its good vs. agrro, with its annoying toughness, which leads me to beleive he must have wrote down the wrong moonfolk.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but he switched to talking about 'Finkel', which is shadowmage infiltrator, after stating that he would like to run erayo again.

I guess I may have not been clear. I went from nostalgia over Erayo to asking about Shadowmage Infiltrator. Sorry about any confusion.  Wink
