No Changes! For Vintage...

http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/56d

Legacy : MetalWorker, Entomb, Dream Halls all unbanned.

Whoohoo! I can possibly make a Legacy Deck now!

Maybe more blue Vintage cards will go off restricted list in December or something.

EDIT: Piggybacking on this thread:

I think this card is hella fun!

Vintage Playable?  Only if somebody builds a deck from scratch, but I remember a certain conclave? (was that the keyword?)  instant that made 3 1/1 Green Dudes from Ravnica among others. Certainly a fun new card to keep Vintage Players playing casual on the side (and buying boosters/drafting)

Not even legendary. Smile

WotC simply suck! Printing combo-hate after combo-hate so I was nealy beliving they unrestrict at least one toy for combo-player's like burning wish, but nay. Another 3 month's without playing vintage for me (unwilling to buy a time vault for european/non-proxy events). Moreover I doubt that Zendikar's giv'n Vintage a real boost.

May Bolas-Reanimator could come back in legacy, but I doubt it's better than belcher. Worker could give Staxx a real boost in legacy but dreamhalls seems pretty wayne due to the domiance of thresh

Metalworker in legacy? pure awesomeness.

Somebody call me when there's a viable metalworker deck in legacy! Smile

Too bad nothing changed in vintage

I'll be surprised if they do anything between now and next June.  Unless some deck rises to 50% dominance again, I just don't see it happening.  Metalworker in Legacy is cool, though.  I'll be watching to see if anything develops there.

Peace,

Tezz didn't rise to 50% dominance? Oh ok, it didn't. It was already there Razz

Well, it did (notice that I said "again"), but the B/R changes in June have lessened its dominance.  Just check out the reports on Morphling and here at TMD.  Fish and even some shop decks are winning.  So unless Tez (really blue Time Vault combo decks) gets back to 50% or some other build rises to that level, I expect the B/R list to remain unchanged for the next year.

Peace,

I guess anyway there is not much they could do to restrict Vault Control to a lesser dominance.
But that's a different discussion...  Smile

I don't understand why this, the new Cabal Coffers land, Valakut and Emeria aren't legendary? It makes them more playable but they have proper nouns in their name. This one maybe but Valakut is the name of a specific volcano...

Yeah, look at morphling. By scrolling through the latest lists I always belive seeing the same decklist over and over again: 4xFoW, 4xConfidant, 4xMana Drain, TimeKey, Tinker, Sphinx ...

http://morphling.de/top8decks.php?id=1125 as example

I wished they open the door to a more diverse metagame by unrestricting a competitive game-engine like Burning Wish.
