My attempt at Painter control, the idea is to use Painter and mana maze to the best advantage meanwhile using portcullis to keep aggro down to a minimum.  I orginally tried this with a bounce component. I am using WU. i want to cast during their upkeep so as to lock out that color, with painter i can lock out more colors than just WU

Your meta must be more aggro dominated then normal as 4 Portcullis seems excessive, why not include at least one Grindstone for essentially an insta win- you have Tinker to help you find it.

Have you consider Aura of Silence? It will help deal with artifact and enchantment permanents that do hit the board.

Spell Syphon while very techy seems just a bit too clever, as it's relatively useless if you don't have a painter in play.  Consider Spell Pierce or a singleton Misdirection in it's place?  Your overall blue count seems a bit low to be running FoW. Consider adding Ponder and maybe a TFK?

I don't like the Lions much but I guess they are ok if you plan to flash them out on your opponent's turn to lock them.

Academy Rectors to help get Mana Maze into play? Just playing with some ideas.

Aura just seemed a bit slow to work and kinda volatile with the WW, i think the lions make great blockers, they where cheaper than the benalish knights and defender of law. thought of using Spell Pierce spaced out on putting it in. i could sideboard some of the portcullis' i was hoping that i would be the only one with 2 creatures. might be a bit much to bank on one card. how would i get the Academy Rectors in play, i mean 4 mana is a bit much to try vs a tier deck or i could be wrong about that. i have to go off no later than turn 3
