There is a PTQ in Pittsburgh this same day:

-It may affect your turn out.

Yea it might, but I think this will be a more casual event (less on the line in terms of prizes), so even if 5-10 people show up it doesnt matter. I'm sure you know that November was a tough month to schedule an event in (I was disappointed to see MNC cancel their event) but like i said, whoever shows up, shows up.

Sorry about the low turn-out man. But my question is: If only 4 people showed up to your event then where were all the people coming to the NYC event? Where was Voltron & Co.?

There was a Legacy event at Blue Bell which pulled down 40 people much more than I was expecting. Type 1 regulars in attendance Matt Elias, myself, Josh, and I know that Steve and Allen had other obligations but came to Blue Bell just to hang out.  There were probably some other Vintage players there as well but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Pittsburgh is actually a good 5 hours from me... long trip for a tournament like this.  Sorry about the low attendance... definitely was NOT expecting 40 players at the Legacy tournament on Saturday, but I was pretty happy to see it.  I still believe that Legacy is one of the keys to sustaining Vintage, and getting players to take the leap from the PTQ / FNM formats into Legacy is really important.

Its no big deal, I enjoyed myself. The upside is, it ended early so I had time to do other things while it was nice out (was like 65-70 out).

Hopefully the store owner will have another one and we can draw in more players next time.
