VINTAGE RETURNS TO ENFIELD CT, MATTS SPORTS CARDS, WHERE I FIRST LEARNED HOW TO PLAY THE GAME IN 1993!!!
So, we get 13 players, major props to my friends from long island who made a 3 hour drive to support my shit, you guys are all pimps, and some day I will buy hookers for all of you.
I can only imagine the bad weather or whatever caused the 15 people that had told me they were coming to change their minds, but it doesn't matter. My tournaments will be the best in New England again. And everyone will get back on board once I get things rolling.
So, on to business we took a vote at the beginning and decided to do 4 rounds cut to top 4. Mox and english drain were guaranteed regardless.
top 4 was: 1 sam best 3-0-1 2 austin pollack 3-0-1 3 travis laplante 3-1 4 ben kowal 3-1
Kowal beat sam best I beat Austin because I'm good at calling mana crypt rolls. seriously I got lucky here
finals I took down kowal in 3 games.
decklists:

Thank you Travis for putting on a hell of an entertaining tournament despite the size. Major slops to anyone who lives in the area for missing out on this. Next time I'm gonna make sure I have that green source for the K. Grip to get rid of my Crypt.

Card wins games dude, only pussies need to rely on a card like time vault to beat people. Besides, the shock value of seeing the look on someones face when they just lost to a 2/2 green ape token is absolutely priceless.

Would have been to this if the week wasn't absolutely fucking terrible, work and personal-wise. I'll try to make it to the next one, and I'll bring some of the Cambridge guys with me.

Hell yea it will! Don't worry Travis there will be a unique prize for you. Haven't decided on it yet, but it may be dehydration-proof. Thanks for running events! Sorry I couldn't make it. -Nick

Caging monkeys. Can't let the damn things run around loose, can you? It's solid tech against Oath and tinker robot. Plus, you can go crazy with it via welder and/or any shoppable/weldable fattie like Titan or Duplicant. And, on top of that, the tokens it makes are not artifacts so they will stay to wreak havoc even if your opponent rebuilds you!

I did run 1 Trop Island in the main. It should have been between the Snow-Covered Island and the U. Seas on my list since I just copy and pasted my list from the last NYSE event.
