Ok, so I'm Canadian.

Big deal, right?

The thing is, who else is Canadian around here?

Right now, apart form testing with my friends, who are not as "into" vintage as I am , my dose of Vintage is the occaisional saturday tournament at the local shop, and for a few months we've been getting about 6 people out for it. As such, prize support tends to be....

Ahem.... moving on.

(though the owners will certainly do something about that if we get more people!!! This store does carry Moxen from time to time).

Anyways, who out there is Canadian and plays Vintage? where are the events at?

I'm in Hamilton (about 45 min from Toronto). Who's close?

There is a fairly large T1 scene in Hamilton. Untouchables in Mississauga has a monthly T1, the last one was for a Lotus i believe, and they usually get 25+ people.

There are a lot of Drainers who are in Toronto Hamilton and other Ontario places. Check out the Tournament forum and calender, on MTGOntario.com to keep up to date. If you want an account to post there, sign up for one (it won't be activated) then PM me with your name, username and email you signed up with, i'll let the site admin know, and he'll activate your account.

The next 10 proxy T1 tournament is on the 21st of November and it is for $1000

They mainly do testing in and around hamilton, I wouldn 't really know the specifics, best bet is getting a MTGOntario account post there.

But come out on the 21st for the Missassuga event, loads of the guys will be at this tourney.

so where does this Team Supreme play and who's on it?
team supreme is marc sims, james harris, marty birthhelmer, steve wolfman, noah long and me. we also have 2 mostly inactive members in ben fanjoy and steve conway, and of course, our many associates, headed by mean green paul dean.

we don't test. we don't really even discuss magic. we mostly exist and drink and go to raves.

When i was raving 10 years ago, we didn't have hookers, just the drugs and slutty drugged up raver chicks which were free, it was much more affordable.
