Congrats on the split Vroman!  It was awesome to play against you again.  I'll most likely be trying to get up there for the next one.

Although nobody knows who Dave is, I'm happy he finally won something.  I think that's his first time in the finals of a mox tourney.

Apparently I'm the only person that can beat or draw with Oath played by players from St. Louis. Congrats on another nice finish Vro.

Congrats on the finish. I am just curious with all the times you have played stax's is it easier for you to play against.

Why did you board out Mana Crypt against Jaco?

definitely. I know exactly for example how much time tangle will buy them, and how long it takes smoky to be dangerous, etc.

I board out crypt vs anything but storm. my theory is that after board, both decks will be geared to hate on each other, so neither will be able to run its strategy unencumbered, so games take more turns, so crypt becomes more liability than asset.

Good games Vroman; Oath is a good deck I used to play it every time we went to St Louis years back.

Here is a link to my report http://home.comcast.net/~spiehler/site/?/blog/view/1/
