Target creature's controller may return up to one exiled card they own to their hand.  Then exile that creature.

The first time you play this card it's amazing.  After that it's probably close to fair.  It doesn't play nice with Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares, which I like, because who wants to face a deck with 12x single white mana catch-all removal spells?  This card can create interesting play situations along the following lines:  You have this card in hand.  You control Baneslayer Angel and have an exiled Baneslayer Angel.  Your opponent casts Path to Exile on your Baneslayer.  Do you Two-Way Path to Exile your own Baneslayer, effectively using it like an Unsummon?

Suggestions for a better card name would be much appreciated.  I think I might try calling it Sojourn.

Beautiful design. Teh dis-synergy with StpS and PTE is great. The potential decisions it woudl create are good too. It would need to be printed while PTE (or soem other cheep exiling spel) is still in standard as the default "best" creature removal in order not to be overpowered.

A nice alternative to Sojourn would be 'Return to the Plow'.

I would reword it as:

"Exile target creature. Its controller may return up to one other exiled card they own to their hand."

Slightly shorter, and puts the business end (kill a guy) up front where players will notice it.
