This was a great tournament! I think we all look forward to coming again from the Northern Virginia area. Thanks for hosting and for putting up the extra prizes!

Unless you want to beat me, that is. I can't ever beat Dark Times
Mark, you and Sam made some very nice changes to my Dredge list. That thing looks really, really strong. I'm still not 100% sold on Serenity in this list but I can't argue with your results.

It was definitely a great time. I really enjoyed it and hope that they offer more of these tournaments in the future. I want to thank all the players for the fun games and the shop owners for the awesome prize support, despite the smaller turnout.
I was lucky enough to have great card draws all day and I ended up splitting for first/second. Lim Duls Vault was amazing with Bob, as it allowed me to set up the other half of my combo on top of the deck, usually with a counter spell right below it to ensure it would stick. Inkwell Leviathan was ridiculous, as it almost always stays in play due to the very limited ways to remove him. I chose Inkwell over Sphinx of the Steel Wind because it made a more reliable kill condition for my deck (IMO). I also played two Sower's of Temptation main deck because I was expecting more Fish and Stax. They work wonders stealing big guys away and also swing for two up high. Even when bounced, they slow the opponent down pretty well.
Again, thanks for a fun day and a great tournament.
Barry
