The skillful soldier does not raise a second levy, neither are his supply-wagons loaded more than twice.

-Sun Tzu, "The Art of War"

- Napoleon Bonaparte, "Political Aphorisms" 1848

Rules:

Lets finally make that Vintage soldier deck.

This wouldn't even be good enough for Vintage White Weenie.

But making cards for specific decks is bad, and making cards intentionally banned in Standard is awful, because more Standard is played by far than anything else.

Well, this could a tool for Vintage WW because it gives them the tempo acceleration mid to late game, and people tend to run Rebuild or Chain of Vapor over Echoing Truth in most decks today anyway. So it could steal victories and win early game.

Yeah it would be weird to make it then ban it in standard though.

Casting this and replicating it twice on turn 2 is not even as good as casting a Tarmogoyf.

It's possible you don't understand the Card Creation Forum. It's explicitly listed as a goal not to design cards to fit in pet decks...

Plus this card is both uninteresting and doesn't do the job you want it to. As well we'd never okay a card that would have to be banned in Standard.

Sorry where does it say that it is not okay to make cards for a deck that can win in Legacy? I don't see it, so it is not explicitly listed if listed at all.

Why don't you talk about the card rather than just always saying it is uninteresting? I think this card does do the job I want it to do and is very interesting.  O_O
