I was actually playing Fish.. I just broke out my Oath deck to play for fun in between rounds when you saw me
Lol! Maybe we shoulda played out Top 4 then!

I wasn't looking forward to bashing through two Oath decks
Pics!

Game 3, Austin gets out early Bob Mana Crypt and Top. I get out early Mana Crypt and Null Rod and win more die rolls that he.

New member of Team Vacaville, Steve, Netdecking TPS. He went 0-5

Secretly, he was happy that Negators won this game, because that's his favorite card!

Locally, we call the fatty next to the oath "Erkle"

My intense game 1 vs Mark Arce's Noble Fish. I got myself down to 2, then 1 life and held him off for awhile, but he finally started drawing more dudes.

Game 2 I flashed in Mindsenser after his EOT Hurkyl's Recall. Openning hand was 4 Moxen, Welder, land, and whatever got countered.

I can watch Oath mirror matches ALL DAY LONG.

Normally I don't post these blurry pics, but for the Metacount, maybe someone remembers what this guy was really playing. (unseen player is Steve with TPS)

Homebrew Bitterblossoms vs Noble Fish

Lin Cheng settles on this pile to get there! He got Time Walk and Demonic Tutor. He walked, and flipped Tezzeret to his Bob bringing him down to 2. He assembled the Time Vault with Key, and had to survive about three flips to Bob before getting there.

There are repairings round 4, and Roger and John (teammates from the ol' C&J's crowd get paired up. Awwww.
My report:
Round 1: Austin playing Tezzeret
Game 1
he gets early key and tutor for Time Vault He gets a turn 2 Tinker for Sphinx which trumps my turn two play of Lodestone Golem then Tangle Wire. Sphinx was just 1 permanent ahead of my Tangle Wire and I die.
Game 2 and 3 he succums to my lock pieces as a timely Shop appears to let me cast my own spells
Round 2 Jeff Huang (Oath)
Game 1 I get locks and Lodestones and Tanglewires and get there
Game 2 he plays early key, and next turn Demonic Tutors. We chat a bit about something (school maybe) and then I realize he's resolving Demonic Tutor with a Voltaic Key out. D'oh! I scoop
Game 3 he Oaths up Inkwell Leviathon, then Terastodon's his Oath, Orchard and Mana Crypt away. I had tutored for Balance a few turns earlier, but used up a Gemstone mine in the process. I try to Bazaar into colored mana, but fail. Jeff had about 10 cards left in his deck and Balance would likely have ended it. So YAY for siding it in and tutoring for it. If my Gemstone Mine had been a City of Brass (I play with 4 each), then I likely would have won.
ROUND 3: I FORGOT TO PUT IN ROUND 3??? I'll add this in tonight
Round 4: Michael Klemic (Painter)
We are both 2-1 and due to cut to top 4, we have to play it out round 4 and 5 to make it. One of us has to knock the other out.
Game 1 he tinkers early for Inkwell Leviathon, but I resolve Tanglewire Welder and Bazzar and survive the onslaught. Welding in vanilla Duplicant to chump Inkwell (plus those lovely lovely Tanglewires) bought me enough time for Lodestone Golem to get there. Klemic scoops up his cards before I can get an awesome pic

Game 2 he dumps a basic and a bunch of artifacts on the field. I play Null Rod, and keep playing locks and/or Golems for the win.
Round 5 Roger Gao (TPS)
Game 1: All I'm gonna say about this game, was that it lasted 30 minutes, and when he tried to go off on his turn 3 (plus turn 4 from a Time Walk) he did the EOT Rebuild thing, Time Walked, Time Twistered, tutored with Vamp Mystical AND Demonic, Time Twistered again, then passed the turn. Roger doesn't get to play Vintage anymore

Game 2: I mull to 5 and keep a Shop Sol Ring Golem Null Rod Smokestack hand. He duresses my Sol Ring. I play shop Null Rod, topdeck another Shop and play Lodestone Golem, maybe get other locks and this game ends quickly.
Top 4: Split Whoot!
