3B Sorcery

Name a nonland card, search target player's hand, library and graveyard for any number of cards with that name and exile them.  target player shuffles library.

any thoughts?

i like that it is multicolor friendly and doesnt require the card to be in the lib or gy.  dont think it will see much if any use.  think most people will stick to extirpate, sad sac or jest cap and sideboards will not accomodate this hate.

Extract anyone?...Or rootwater thief...Both of them can single handedly (As people like to claim) take out entire archetypes and have seen extensive play (Wait - No they haven't)...

Baseline point: We have many options for this effect, and they usually turn out to be crap...Sacrament and jester's cap remains the only two that see play, and they're not even heavily played which to me suggests that this will not see any play at all.

Very true, especially since it's a functional reprint of a card that sees no play whatsoever.
