Vintage Format. Swiss rounds based on attendance, cut to Top 4. Winner receives a 2-round bye at the 2010 Vintage Championship and a netbook computer! Additional prizes to Top 8.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Let's get 50 fucking people and cut to top 4, because of Time Constrants in an event that's open 24 fucking hours a day. Keep in mind that this is Pastimes running the event: A group of ostriches could run (Vinage) magic events better. I mean sure, Ostriches have their heads in the ground: But it's better than in their asses. |

I was really intending to go this year, but this whole bar exam thing got in the way of my preparation, so I couldn't justify the cost of going. Perhaps next year. Have fun those of you that go.

i was hoping by some miracle pastimes wasn't running it this year, there was nothing like top 8'ing 2 of the 3 vintage events last year at gencon last year with 50+ people and getting a couple draft sets of SHARDS OF ALARA. M10 came out a month earlier.
that and the judges screwed my friend out of the top 2 of worlds (his first vintage tournament) by not giving his opponent any penalty for sideboarding GAME 1., oh wait he gave him game loss after my friend already beat his presideboarded deck game 1.
my favorite was when i bought sleeves from pastimes 5 minutes before worlds started, then after round 1 i was told i had to re-sleeve my deck by pastimes. awesome.

Max Brown. Why the hell wouldn't I want a full playset? That sounds awesome. You know, Jace draws THREE cards, while Bazaar only draws TWO. Except if you're that guy I played at the last Waterbury. Then Bazaar draws three. When my drone comes back with the painting, would you autograph it for me?
Yea they should just Errata bazaar to be tap: Draw 3 discard 2 or add 1 mana of any color, then maybe I would be willing to play it over Jace. Also, Jace puts Narrrrrrrrco Moh Beeeeee Uh on top of your library so you can dredge him into play... The antithesis of loose right there. see now u guys can finally understand the true brokeness of jace the mindsculptor in dredge but im beginning to think that jace beleren mite be better cause he comes out a turn faster |
