suspend and sphere effects

when you suspend a spell, do you need to pay additional costs such as sphere of resistance, or pay 3 to meet trinisphere's requirement, or is only when the last suspend counter is removed and the spell is "cast"?

Trinisphere, Sphere of Resistance and their ilk only affect the cost to cast a spell.  They don't affect the cost to suspend a card.  No need to put cast in quotes even.  Casting it is exactly what you do when the last time counter is removed.
