This is an open challenge. Screw that Batman and Darth Vader nonsense. Is there anyone who can take out Benedict of Amber in a fight?

Here's what Dresden Files author Jim Butcher had to say about Benedict, to lay this Vader nonsense to rest. Benedict of Amber, hands down. The man can infinitely alter REALITY. He can walk to any world he can imagine. What in the world makes anyone think that Benedict would enter a fight he couldn't win? Against Vader, he'd go out into Shadow and find his own lightsaber. After that, he chops a retirement-age disability candidate to bits, assuming he didn't take a few moments to be thorough and find some armor that stopped lightsabers while he was there, which he would. He's thousands of years old, and he's spent every day training, fighting, and generally becoming increasingly more bad. You don't live a life like that without being intensely intelligent when it comes to choosing your fights.
Pfffff. All the rest are but Shadows.

I could beat him. Being real has its perks. He'd try to be all badass on me and I'd just laugh and rip up the page. Because I am the awesome and the real (don't get all Socrates on me).

Link: he's guaranteed to find a combination of weapons that'd work, including demonstrated aptitude for dimensional and time travel as well as sealing away god-like entities millenia old. In Twilight Princess, he specifically pursues a boss through several dimensions created on the spot via dark magic. In addition, the triforce of courage appears to guarantee that he wouldn't up end confronting Benedict until he was capable of both pursuing and defeating him.

How about Dr. Manhattan?
I was thinking the same thing. He seems like the only potential competitor to Benedict.

I suppose it's mostly the thought that this format is just one big Mistake; and not even a very sophisticated one at that.
Much like humanity itself.
