The atmosphere at our tournaments is really open and competitive. We welcome all new players to the format. So here is the announcement for the 14th edition. This is also one of the last tournaments to test your decks for the Open Dutch Nationals.

The prize support for this tournament is:
1st place UNL Mox
2nd place Mana Drain

For the Rest of the Top players there will be Duals, Fetches and other Vintage staples.

The prize structure has changed a bit and we will not be giving out boosters this time, we will be giving (Vintage staples or new fetches) single cards, possible additional prizes added based on attendance.

1st and 2nd place Prizes are GUARANTEED[/U] by Rudi’s Magic Backpack (Magicunited.nl) and
the Tournament organization regardless of attendance!

Tournament Format: Non-sanctioned Vintage. (Up to 10 proxies are allowed.) Modified Swiss with single-elimination top 8.
Although this event is unsanctioned, it will be run at a Competitive rules enforcement level and deck lists are required.

Proxy Rules:
There are Two types of acceptable proxies for use in the Dutch Vintage tournament.
(Other Method’s must be approved by the judge after reviewing them before the tournament starts)
1) The first and most basic method is taking a basic land card and writes all details on the card.
2) The second method is to take a card that shares some of the characteristics with the card that you want to proxy and erase any characteristics that do not match, replacing them with the correct characteristics (Cards can be erased with Acetone and a cotton ball).

All proxies must have the following text neatly printed, using a extra fine point sharpie. Ball point pens may not be used:
• The full name of the card (no abbreviations or nicknames)
• Correct casting cost of the card including all colored mana symbols
• All relevant/game effecting text (Oracle wording)

This tournament will be cancelled.

It will be reschedulled to Januari, date will follow asap.

It's a shame, but the GP in Bochum took to many players away and there for it would be a very high risk of taking a Hit, I rather have a good event in Januari.

Unless I am being sabotaged, think of carbombs, or a room filled with garlic butter and french bread which would prevent me from making it to the tournament in time. (and yes I had to google "stokbrood" to be able to translate it into enlish)

Although I do remember beating you last time we faced each other, I think I'm one of the only Breda guys to have beaten you no?  I'm definitely going to give you a run for you title this year!

To bad it wasn’t in some kind of finals, that would have looked really good on your curriculum vitae.

Mark (Thomas) Hendriks actually has nightmares about playing you, the way he describes the games you guys play together crack me up each time.

Since he is one of the “hardest to beat” players (do mention this to Frank van Rijn if you want to lure him out of his tent) from the zuid-holland province, it would be very pleasant if you 2 meet again in the semifinals, guaranteeing me a rematch. (if I am able to reach the finals as well of course, even though I managed to do that every time before)

Hey the winner of our Match advanced into Top 8 !! That's "finals" enough as is and winning ended up giving me 2 duals, so it's not a bad thing to have on my CV.... I'd love to hear some of the stories Thomas is telling about me some time, would be a great addition to this thread !!

I'm all for beating Thomas and meeting you in the finals, as long as I can keep my "undefeated" streak intact that is
