Congrats!

Nice lists, looks like a funny event.

Gush is going lethal ... again ... and again... Wink

Man, Gush not only bounces lands, it bounces on and off the restricted list. It's like the DCI's very own superball.

Yes, Gush is powerful back again. Anyway, Tezzcast absolutely destroys any Gush variant and my goal is to make it something near as powerful against Wokshop decks as against Gush Variants.

@Qube: It surely is a funny event. Every player knows the name of any opponent as we are the best performers in and out the frontiers, most of us are also friends, and the atmosphere is friendly and proessional, at the same time.

My goal is to be able to celebrate the real vintage worlds by the next year, some of the europeans organizaers are working on that since 2009.

What about Playing Myr Battlesphere in Tezzcast? It seems to help your gameplan beside hitting lethal pretty quickly. After Tinkering or hardacasting Battlesphere (which schould be pretty easy) your Thoughtseizes will allways cost one blue Wink

I was trying to guess what you post meant until I discovered that where you said "seize" it should say "cast".

Well, I think Sphinx is way more useful having into account the amount of damage that you use to take from Confidants... Anyway, I think that I've never paid 5, almost never 4, 3 just in some games, and 2 is the only cost that sometimes is paid in the fist turn off a land and two moxen. CC1 is the usual thing, you pay it 95% of the time.

Wow.  Someone played my 5c Opal Stax list from my Scars set review.  I'd love to hear how his tournament went.   I love that deck!

I don't think your deck is particulary powerfull against Gush decks. Really in our match against my Remora Gush deck, you were very lucky not taking damage with Bob.

Thank you César!

Did you face any MUD decks on your way to the trophy? What are the key cards and plays?

Congratulations with the win!! You've been playing and working on this deck for a long time now. Glad to see it pay off!
I'll be trying it myself if you don't mind... Smile

I didn't face any. I think that only 3 of the 24 players were playing Workshop Decks, so it was kind of possible in the numbers.

When playing against MUD I just try to destroy Win Conditions/Null Rods/Chalice@0 because if I can develop my game plan I'll finlly find the combo or enough card advantage/counters.

I'm trying to build again a 4color Tezzcast to be able to play Ancient Grudge along with Ingot Chewer. The sideboarded mountain in this build demonstrated very important in the end, because I won a game (In other tournament) that I won't be able to won if not able to search a Mountain off a Ghost Quarter.
