The best deck to play is the one you think you will win with. That's all.
While this answer definitely has merits and also has ties to other posts from TMD, I find these types of answers painfully monotonous and equivalent to "I tested x deck with fantastic result" or "....card advantage" or "...tempo."
Maybe a good guideline should be if the polar opposite is so absurd that no one would take it seriously, then don't say it:
"play the deck you think will lose", "this card is good because it nets disadvantage", "I love the tempo loss on card x"..."well, this card doesn't pitch to force of will..oh well"
What decks do you enjoy playing with, and what does the prospective field look like?- I won tournies with dragon during the flash era here because the opposition was weak.
