Congrats on those who top 8ed and won! Sorry I missed this kamelion I was flying home from California.

What is going on with all those one ofs?
As Rob mentioned above, the Lightning Bolt (and possibly main deck Mindbreak trap?) were inspired by his four color monstrosity. Mostly, I wanted to try something new, because I was / is disgusted with Time Vault combo (Jace, Tezzeret, "Haunted"--I'm not going to come up with silly names, SHAWN GRIFFITHS, if you don't post them--whatever the heck you wanna call it), and wanted to change things up a bit.
Hurkyl's and Nature's Claim were both one of in the main deck because I didn't want to get blown out by Steel Hellkite / Duplicant, so I wanted some more options. Furthermore, I was hoping that Shop players would see Trygon Predator and board in all of their nonsense for that when in reality I only had the one.
Duress and Mindbreak Trap made the main deck because I decided that I hate Spell Pierce. Why Duress over a third Thoughtseize? I dunno... maybe because it's foil. (And one has to draw the line with Dark Confidant damage somewhere).
Lightning Bolt was interesting. Initially wanted Fire / Ice for the savage blowouts against other Dark Confidant decks, but I HATED that it didn't kill Lodestone Golem or Jace, so I tried bolt. It killed several people, but to be fair, I had no business losing those games at that point anyway. Killed a bunch of Planeswalkers, too. Also, the point of playing red was for Red Blasts in the board to try and make the combo match-up winnable. I snuck in Lightning Bolt to be funny and an Ancient Grudge out of the board.... just because I could? I don't really know. OH! It's good against Fish as well... (kinda).
Long story (not really) short: I'm A) a terrible Magic player who was B) Kinda bored and C) wanted to try something different. Mindbreak Trap Min the main didn't really come up too much, and Bolt was okay. As it turns out, Workshops are still my mortal enemies, and one should counter a T1 Metalworker when one has the chance. Oh well--live and learn.
Thanks to Shawn and Eric for being fantastic hosts, as usual. Thanks to my opponents--especially poor Justin--who put up with my Workshop rants with a smile and a laugh. Great sportsman, and the Time Walk could not have gone to a better guy.
