Knight Ware Inc in Studio City, CA is holding an Unsanctioned Vintage on Sunday February 13, 2011

This will be one of our Fixed Prize Vintage events.

Phil Thorson has agreed to answer judge questions

Cash Entry fee
$15 and you get up to 10 proxies
$20 and you get 11-15 proxies
(credit cards still fine for other purchases)

Proxies
Removing text with acetone or an eraser and using an extra fine point sharpie pen
to cross out the irrelevant text and write the real text is the best approach.
Peeled foils are ok
Extra fine point sharpie on a basic land with all relevent text is ok

Pieces of paper, either glued or not glued
will not be permitted inside the sleeve.
Whiteout is not allowed.
Ball point should not be used as it dents the card

Prize Pool
Library of Alexandria for first (ex/fine)
Jace, The Mind Sculptor for second (NM)
other prizes will depend on turnout

Where
Knight Ware Inc.
3709 Cahuenga Blvd. West
Studio City, CA. 91604
(818) 769-7830
http://www.knight-ware.com

When
Sunday February 13, 2011
Store opens at 11 AM
Registration anytime after that and before 2 pm
(casual play before the tourney is most welcome, bring your EDH, vintage, etc.)
Tournament at 2 PM

Format:
Unsanctioned Vintage
REL Regular
Decklists Required
9-16 players, 4 rounds cut T4
17-32 players, 5 rounds cut T8
33-59 players 6 rounds cut T8

Parking
Parking is the main reason most of our larger events are on Sundays
Behind the store there are numbered spaces.
Knight Ware has spaces 9, 10, and 11
but
on Sundays, our neighbors are usually closed

The streets are metered but not checked on sundays
The first street to the west of us is Lankersheim Blvd..
On Lankersheim to the south there is unregulated street parking
Just west of Lankersheim (north side of the street) is an open lot that says
additional MTA parking. It does not get used much on the weekends
unless the hollywood bowl is running something and then there will be signs

any questions, post, call or email me

thanks

Some of these besieged cards look awesome for vintage. Can't wait to test them out.

After getting manascrewed against Metalworker Mud in the finals, I took second with a key vault build including Tez the Agent. Great day, great tournament, thanks everyone that came out. If I am not mistaken there were 17 people and we played 5 rounds of swiss before cutting to top4.
