My MWS base is insanely out of date.  I've been having some difficulty getting updates for it.  does anyone have a good spot to get new sets?

Alternatively I think I could just edit cards I'm trying to play into my existing base overwriting something similar that I'd never use (green sun's zenith over hurricane for instance).  Does anyone know how to do this?

I've been more and more using Cockatrice over MWS. It features some extremely usable features. You can run a program to update your card database, and it downloads images automatically. And you don't have that horrible shuffle delay that you have in MWS, either. And it runs on Macs! So, given all this, depending on what you are using this for, I would seriously look into Cockatrice.

When updating MWS, I've always gone to mtgsalvation.

For instance, when I type "MWS mirrodin besieged patch" into google, I get this as my first result:

That guy regularly updates each set for MWS, and that has always worked for me.
