If Inkmoth is animated, until EOT it is a 1/1 creature.  If metamorph is played, then would the metamorph remain a 1/1 flyer with infect?
Also, what if tezz made Inkmoth a 5/5 flyer prior to casting the metamorph?

Inkmoth Nexus
Land
{T}: Add {1} to your mana pool.
{1}: Inkmoth Nexus becomes a 1/1 Blinkmoth artifact creature with flying and infect until end of turn. It's still a land. (It deals damage to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters and to players in the form of poison counters.)

Phyrexian Metamorph
Artifact Creature - Shapeshifter 0/0, 3{UP} (4)
({UP} can be paid with either {U} or 2 life.)
You may have Phyrexian Metamorph enter the battlefield as a copy of any artifact or creature on the battlefield, except it's an artifact in addition to its other types.

Metamorph will ETB exactly as if it were another Inkmoth Nexus played from your hand. It will not be a creature.

When you copy a permanent, it does not copy anything external to the card itself, including enchants/equipment, or changes due to spells/abilities. This was discussed a bit in another thread here. I'm fairly certain it's come up in other rules threads on TMD as well.

I suppose it's mostly the thought that this format is just one big Mistake; and not even a very sophisticated one at that.
Much like humanity itself.
