This is going to be the LAST N.Y.S.E. event of 2011.  I won't run a major N.Y.S.E. event in December.  So, if you're looking to finish up as the N.Y.S.E. Player of the Year for 2011, this is your last shot at cementing that title.

I am going to run an event in January to kick off 2012.  I'm going to look for some sweet prize support to put up.

So, come down to Grim, finish out the N.Y.S.E. tournament year and spend some time with friends!  See you all there...

Prize support for this event is set. Let's finish out the year on a strong note, come down to Brothers Grim and play some Vintage!

I have a line on some duals, so I'm going to be upgrading the prize support, I think. Second will probably be two Underground Seas, third and fourth will probably become Volcanic Islands. The number of entrants required will go from 33 to 35 though. More info on this when it's set.

I am strongly considering running a Standard tournament, to start at 2pm, the same day as the Vintage tournament.  Grim is capable of holding more than 120 players, space won't be an issue.  Would any of the Vintage players be at all interested in this?  I know that Standard is about as divergent as it gets from Vintage, but I'd make sure that the prize support was pretty sweet and it would be an opportunity for anyone who doesn't do well to play in another event.

Anyone heading up from my area?

Rob, let me know if you've got trouble finding a ride.  If so, I'll see if I can help.

I probably wouldn't play Standard, but I'll reach out to the local community and see who I could get to come out.

Thank you for running the tournament. I will not be able to attend due to travel time and travel cost. I will be eagerly waiting to see the results. I found out about this through Mark Hornung's SCG article today. Hopefully, that link will bring more interest and attendees to your tournament.

Well, there's always that R/G Season's Beatings deck.

The Standard event isn't going to happen and the duals aren't feasible, so it looks like the initial information regarding the event will all hold true.

This is the LAST N.Y.S.E. of 2011.  I hope to see you all soon...

I would actually like to attend this but usually the NEPA crew doesn't travel down to New York. If anyone from the PA area is going nearby let me know.

It pains me to say this, but I will be missing this one.

Hope the regular crew continues to bring the badassery that they usually do.

Well I have some good news and some bad news.

First the good news: Dear Mr. Nicholas Detwiler, I will be attending this event, along with Mr Shawn Anthony and Mr Josh Potucek.

And now the bad news(for everyone else attending): Shawn Anthony and myself built a deck to break the format.

Also I know Rob Edwards and Anthony Scalzo were looking for rides, I have 1 Seat left in my car. Whoever gets in contact with me first is more than welcome to come along. You would have to meet at my place though, which is just west of King of Prussia. You can PM me and I will give you  my number/address/etc.

Apparantly Shawn left his account logged in on my computer, this is Allen. Xxtsundaybxx, for PMs. DO NOT PM THIS ACCOUNT(desolutionist), I WILL NOT GET IT.

While this is a really nice offer Allen, I have no car or way to get to King of Prussia and Scranton is approximately 2 hours away. Thanks for the offer but I have no way of getting that far.

Finally got myself reregistered on here... haven't posted since 2002 or so. Nick ran a great tourny as always, and yes, I am the Dredge player who won. It was very humbling to lose to Mark in the swiss, and I always have fun playing vintage. Can't wait for the next one. Those PA players better watch out for us Long Islanders.
