A card I thought of a while ago:

{6} {R} {R}
Sorcery
Destroy all permanents.
During your first turn of the game you may play Brutal Reversal without paying its mana cost.

Probably not good enough to see competitive play, but could be funny in some situations.  Opponent opens with Workshop, Mox, Lodestone.  You open with land, Brutal Reversal.  Also, I think this could be fun in EDH.

I think the cost could come down to: {5} {R} {R} or {6} {R}..maybe even:
{4} {W} {R} {R}
and Exile all permanents instead of destroy?

seems like something that would see print....seing how WoTC likes to tease us with spells that seem to be "free"
best if printed in a EDH(commander) deck, imo.

I like the core idea, and quite a bit at that.

Seems fine to me. For every time you nuke their Orchard + Mox + Oath, you'll probably have two or three where you only snag a land. That doesn't even begin to get into the games where you win the roll and this just sits in your hand.

I suppose it's mostly the thought that this format is just one big Mistake; and not even a very sophisticated one at that.

If you were running 4 of these, would you be tempted to go second if you won the die roll?

Probably not.

Practically nobody chooses to go second, and doing so will make in all likelihood make your opponent more cautious. That in turn cuts down on the odds that they'll overcommit like the card wants.

Also, it would really suck to hand them the first turn and see Shop->Mox->Golem when you didn't open with this guy.

I really really like this card. I think it is something they could print. It would be pretty good in some formats, but then again, you have to go second, unless your opponent has a leyline...

This would be cute in sideboards Smile

It should definitively say exile too.
