Has anyone tried running an online Vintage tournament using a program like Cockatrice? If so, how did it turn out? I expect the logistics challenges would be very different than those that arise during in-store tournaments.

Do TMDers have any interest in playing in such a tournament if one were held in the future?

Count me in, pretty much rain or shine.

The largest issue is that you need cockatrice to hash the loaded decklist before every match...server-side, which is presently doesn't do.

You can use the server-side deck ID to prove you're always playing the same deck.
A feature to share the server-stored decks with other people will be made available eventually. But in the meantime, if the tournament organizer sets up his own Cockatrice server, checking the deck lists is easy by extracting them from the database by ID.

I think the source is organizing a legacy version, not sure how it has worked out or if it has even happened yet. But I'd be down for a vintage tournament on cockatrice

K, well, we could hold a vintage online world champs.  Say, on a Sunday morning, 11 AM EST.

Who'd be in if we made it August 14th?
