So I'm predominantly a shop player, I have played blue in the past but id say the past 2 years have pretty much been all shops for me. I loved standstill, was one of my favorite decks ever and now that Josh's list has given a fresh breath of air into standstill I wanted to take a stab at a list, while there will be no revolutionary changes from Josh's lists there were a few tweaks that I have enjoyed testing with over the past few days and I figured I would come to you folks for some thoughts:

As I said I know there is nothing revolutionary here compared to Josh's list, the snapcaster interactions I think are a bit better then most give them credit for. As for the sage which I'm sure a ton of people are looking at and wondering why, in testing, the fixing I have had from him has been amazing and he plays much better with nullrod then S.D.T. The surgical extractions are real solid dredge hate coupled with the Snapcasters. Pithing needle can double for shop hate as well as dredge hate. The deck has a bunch of neat little interactions and I am having a ton of fun with it so far.
JP, glad you're having fun playing around with the deck. First thoughts on your list, I think your missing strip mine haha. 24 mana sources are optimal so you probably just forgot to put it down. Sage does seem kinda weird. I have found three burn spells are a minimum for a deck like this. You need to answer a bob when its on the field. Its crucial in beating bob decks. Well good luck with testing, this is so cool I hope I changed or initiated some change in the meta game
